Tel me how someone can make handmade soap?

I need to know the materials needed and the quantity of them plz make a list of wat u do in the steps (this is just to help me make some soap for 1 / 4 of my project for the science fair) (not the whole thing)

HAVE FUN! Ingredients: 1 can (12 ounces or 340 grams) 100% bleach 21 1 / 2 ounces (605 grams) or ice cold frozen part of distilled water 5 pounds, 7 1 / 3 ounces (2.48 kg) of butter or lard for all teams: 1 ea, 1-2 quarts of Pyrex or ceramic bowl furnace 1 ea, 4-6 fourth plastic or stainless steel or pot cast iron 1 ea, plastic, wood or stainless steel tablespoon 1 / u, a cardboard box lined with shallow plastic garbage bag rubber gloves Canning pot (for water bath if using plastic reaction vessel) Directions: Prepare the lye water by freezing 1 / 2 of water in ice cubes. Put ice cubes and the remaining water in the bowl for 1 to 2 quarts. With the stirring spoon (known manufacturers of soap as a crutch "), pour lye slowly into the ice and water, stirring until the lye is all dissolved. Be very careful with the lye is very caustic and burn the skin and eyes! Any splashes should be washed immediately with plenty of water! To return to the bar in the form of a new form, place some of the bars in a ziplock bag and warm them up by dipping the sealed bag of soap in warm (120degF) water for 30 minutes. The soap should be soft enough to cut, make balls or even the press in the molds. Is set when it has cooled and rested for an hour or so.

Is one better than the other? Or are practically the same.
